Glass Labels

A label on every pane, scanned in at goods-in

Print a label for each pane with the job number, customer, site, the opening it's for and its size. When glass arrives, scan the labels in — and once every pane on a job is in, the job shows as glass ready so the office can book the fitting.

How it works

From the supplier's delivery to ready for fitting

Labels and scanning work on any job with glass on it.

  1. Print the labels

One label per pane, printed from the job on a label roll printer.

  2. Stick them on the glass

Each label says which job, which opening and which size — "pane 2 of 4, KITCHEN LEFT".

  3. Scan at goods-in

Scan each label as the delivery comes in — with the shop-floor app's camera, a barcode scanner, or the scan box in the office.

  4. Job ready for fitting

When the last pane on a job is in, the job moves to glass ready and your "order ready" automations run.
